Water feature

Max and I have been having lots and lots of fun in the garden since we last updated the pages.

It is really great, the sun has been shining and the weather is warmer so there has been much activity with Joan getting the garden ready for summer.

She spent the other Sunday cleaning out the water feature and in the afternoon she switched it on so that we could see it working.

I remembered it from last year but Max thought it was really exciting to have running water to play with!

Then she got out the wheel barrow to do some work on the front lawn. When she came back with it empty we both tried it out for size. It is great fun to play in and to roll about!

It is lovely to roll about and now Joan has stopped worrying about us getting our coats dirty.

I mean really - we are cats for goodness sake not dogs!

Dogs might enjoy rolling in things unspeakable but we are much more sensible.

She seems to be amazed that we can roll about for ages and then come up sparkling clean!

The other new game I found was helping with the planting for the hanging baskets. That was fun!

She had this huge sack of stuff and for a moment she left it and it fell over on to its side - that was just enough to attract my interest so I went to explore.

It was really dark in there so I settled down in the peace and quiet and neither Joan nor Max had any idea where I was!
