Christmas 2007

It hardly seems possible that another year has rushed by but it has. I had another birthday just before Christmas so I am now the ripe old age of 6 which is approaching middle aged for a cat but I still think I am very much a kitten. Just to prove how young I feel we recorded a video on Christmas morning when we were playing with our new toy "Undercover Mouse" and I had lots of fun leaping on it.

If you click on the video you should be able to watch it on YouTube - I hope you enjoy it.

If you look very carefully at the background you will see that Oscar took a moment out to go an pinch one of the Christmas decorations off the tree to play with instead whilst Joan was a bit distracted watching us!

I also posed beautifully for some birthday photos and the boys got in on the act as always.

Oscar being Oscar of course!

We had a wonderful time at Christmas, it is lovely to have Joan at home from work for a few days to give us lots af attention and we repay her by sitting on her knee and purring away happily. On Christmas morning Max had prepared a very special surprise for her, he had brought the wet dishcloth through to the bedroom and left it on the carpet where Joan would stand on it when she got up to go to the bathroom. She did!

We thought it was hugely funny although I am not too sure if Joan felt the same. Apparently it is very strange stepping on something wet and cold in the dark especially if you aren't sure what it is - shame she can't see in the dark isn't it?

We had lots of presents under the tree this year including some from America and one from a Ragdoll cat who lives around the corner from us - must be that our fame is spreading.

Oscar, as ever, went visiting the old folk and this year agreed to wear the 'Santa Suit' without making too much fuss. The old folk love to see him wearing it and he adores being made a fuss of.

Happy Christmas to all our readers.

Lara
