Our own book
Well here it is - our very own book! It is called "Birman Cats and Kittens" - Finally Joan is happy with it so if you want to have a look through it and see what the pages inside look like then all you need to do is to click on this link and you can see them all. It is a picture compilation of some of Joan's favourite photographs over the years and it has over 100 photographs on 40 pages. If you want to see any of the pages just click on the page you want to see in more detail and it should bring up a larger version for you. Joan said it was fun to do and we certainly enjoyed posing for the photographs especially the ones where we were having great games. If you want a copy and you live in the UK then perhaps you could send us an email - if you live in the US it would probably be cheaper and easier to order it direct from Viovio. |

Oscar would rather play than pose! |
But Max is happy to look gorgeous |
Lara finds a feather fascinating |
So speaking of posing for photos for the book - here are some of our recent efforts. The blue brings out the colour in our eyes and we seem to enjoy settling down on it and waiting to see what fun toys will come out of the box next. Joan says we can be really quite mischievous when we set our minds to it. The other day she wanted to get all three of us into the cat baskets as we were off on a trip. I was really good and came when called, Oscar was pretty good too as he just rolled on his back and waited to be picked up - after a quick tummy tickle of course! Max on the other hand decided it might just be fun to dash off upstairs with Joan in hot pursuit. She thought he had gone into the little bedroom and would be hiding in the cupboard under the bed so that was where she looked for him. She pulled out all the bedding from the cupboard to see if he was hiding behind it - needless to say he wasn't there! She turned around to see him on the landing - jumping up and down and almost laughing at her! She hadn't the heart to tell him off as he obviously thought it was such a great game so she picked him up and gave him a cuddle before putting him in his basket for our little journey. |
Anything fluffy gets Lara's attention |
and Max feels much the same about it |
We had hoped by now that we would be enjoying Summer weather but the week has been very showery so although the boys enjoy playing in the garden whatever the weather I prefer to stay indoors until the sun is shining! Because it has been so showery all the greenery in the garden has really grown so it makes it easy to find great hiding places in the bushes. Joan gets quite frustrated when the boys find another great hiding place and then don't come in when she calls them. Lara |
and Oscar enjoys catching the feather. |
